Website entrepreneurs, does your site have a clear purpose?

Website entrepreneurs, does your site have a clear purpose?

Many site owners would answer, "sure ... I have article information about widgets, smidgets and gidgets". They continue by adding that they have sales letters promoting
widgets, smidgets and gidgets. They also have lots of other great products and subjects so the readers could read there for months, if the reader wanted to.

But does the average reader devour comprehensive websites and stay on a website for prolonged periods? NO!!

Let's ask ourselves an important question. What made the reader visit your site? SPECIFIC KEYWORDS!!!

Niche markets are really taking a momentum in 2006 on the internet, why? Because websites are created to specific niche keywords, such as small yellow widgets that can do something special or gidgets that can locate ants in the dark. My point? Get specific and your niche site will enjoy a more targeted group of readers that are sincerely interested in and may buy that niche product that your niche website has to offer.

YES, this means you will have to create more websites for the dozens of markets that you wish to promote. Each niche has a distinct group of interested of buyers.
Generally website entrepreneurs think diversify when building websites. However it is better to do reverse on the internet - niche is smarter.

Less traffic, more targeted, more satisfied readers, more sales, more profit.
